Stephanie Demake, Assistant Camp Director (Junior Camps)
Stephanie Demake enters her first year with the women's soccer program as assistant coach in 2017 after joining the program February 6, 2017.
"I am extremely happy to be able to add an assistant coach of Stephanie's experience to our program here at Davidson," said Denton. "She brings exciting knowledge of coaching and recruiting at the division one level and this will continue to add to our program. We are all looking forward to Stephanie getting started this Spring as we prepare for the 2017 Fall Season."
Demake comes to Davidson after a three-year stay at Troy University as the women's soccer assistant.
"To be offered the opportunity to work at such a prestigious academic institution and be challenged in the competitive A-10 Conference is something I'm incredibly excited about," said Demake. "In speaking with the current players, men's and women's coaching staff, I am drawn to the pride in community within Davidson College Athletics. Adam has an excellent reputation in the soccer community and I'mm thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside him and propel Davidson Women's Soccer to greater heights. Davidson offers such a fantastic student-athlete experience that I'm eager to begin recruiting some of the brightest, hardest working, and most talented players in the country to be a part of our program."
While with the Trojans, they set several school records and had a combined record of 37-20-5. Troy set a school record with 16 victories in 2014, while five players were named All-Sun Belt with three earning first team honors.
Then in 2015, the Trojans again rewrote the program's record book setting numerous individual and team records en route to a 14-4-2 overall record. Defensively, Troy posted a program- and Sun Belt Conference-best 0.63 goals against average and registered 10 shutouts.
Prior to her time with Troy, Demake was an assistant at Stetson in 2013 and served as assistant coach at Ohio University during the 2012-13 seasons. In addition, Demake was an assistant coach at Wheaton College in Massachusetts from 2010-11. With her on staff, the Lyons advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round in both 2010 and 2011.
Demake got her start in coaching with the New England Futbol Club, helping to develop youth players aged six to 14 beginning in 2009. She worked with the club program until 2012, when she took the position at Ohio.
A graduate and three-year student-athlete at Worcester State, Demake earned her bachelor's degree in 2010. A captain as a senior, she earned MASCAC All-Conference honors twice and led the Lancers to the MASCAC Championship and the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament in 2007.
Demake played at Hartford during her freshman campaign, helping to lead the Hawks to an America East Championship in 2006.
Demake holds both a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma and an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, as well as a master's degree in coaching education from Ohio University.

Madison See, a recent Davidson grad in the Class of 2016, begins her first year as a volunteer assistant for the Wildcat women's soccer program.

Megan Roberson, Camp Staff
Assistant coach Megan Roberson begins her first season with the Davidson women's soccer program after joining the staff in August of 2017.
“We are very happy to add Megan to our women coaching staff,” said head coach Adam Denton. “Megan has gained valuable coaching experience through her club coaching and the NC ODP program. I feel the addition of Megan to our staff compliments the current staff we have in place and we are looking to working together this season.”
Roberson, who is affiliated with the Carolina Rapids Soccer Club, recently played on the Women’s Premier Soccer League’s Lady Rapids team and was a team captain in the summer of 2016.
She is familiar with Davidson, having played four years at one-time Southern Conference opponent Appalachian State from 2012-16. Roberson was a two-time team captain and the Mountaineers’ No. 1 goalkeeper.
“I am honored to be a part of this wonderful staff and prestigious college,” said Roberson. “Davidson has proven to be a force both academically and athletically, and I am excited to join this outstanding program. The coaching staff has been extremely welcoming and to be able to learn from such excellent and well-respected coaches is something I am looking forward to.”
A Kernersville, N.C., native, Roberson has been a North Carolina Olympic Development Program assistant/goalkeeper coach since 2013. She also holds a USSF “D” license.
While at ASU, she received the NCAA Women’s Enhancement Program Postgraduate Scholarship for careers in athletics and carried the highest grade point average of all during the Spring of 2016 for student-athlete graduates.
Roberson graduated summa cum laude, earning a degree in communication: Public Relations from Appalachian State in 2016. She currently is working on obtaining a Master of Sport Management degree from the University of Florida.
