More Camp Information

COVID 19 Policy-Summer 2022

The safety and health of all Davidson Soccer School participants is our number one priority. We will be following CDC COVID-19 guidance for Summer Camps as well as any additional Davidson College policies.

All overnight campers must be fully vaccinated!

Vaccination cards must be uploaded and camp covid waivers must be completed during the registration process.

A Negative Antigen Test certificate from health provider (within 72 hours of the start of camp) must be uploaded to start of camp.

MASK POLICIES- All participants must bring a mask to all Davidson Soccer Camps.

The CDC states that, in general, people do not need to wear masks outdoors. We will be supportive of any participant who wishes to wear a mask outdoors, but will not require them during outdoor soccer activities.

Davidson Soccer School will require ALL campers to wear a mask during the following activities:

  • Dining: Davidson College dining requires camp participants to wear masks when eating in the dining hall. Masks will be required upon entry and exit of the dining hall.
  • Dorms: Masks will be required while in dorms and dorm rooms (except when sleeping)
  • Indoor activities: Masks will be required for all other indoor activities; including the mid-day indoor break and any possible rain or lightning delays that require campers to come inside.
  •

SOCIAL DISTANCING POLICIES

Our assumption is that some of our participants (except all overnight campers) are not vaccinated Therefore, during all breaks we will require appropriate social distancing. The CDC recommends 3 feet between campers within their own cohort, and 6 feet between campers of different cohorts. Our camps (except ID Clinics) will be arranged in groups (cohorts) of 8-18 players; which will be their cohort for the entire week.

NOTIFICATION AND COMMUNICATION POLICIES

If any participant is feeling any of the following symptoms, they should NOT report to camp and should contact us immediately.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Nasal congestion or runny nose
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Stomachache
  • Tiredness
  • Headache
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Poor appetite

While at camp, if any participant is feeling any of the above symptoms, a parent will be contacted immediately and asked to pick up their daughter from camp.  Any participants who have been contacted traced will also be asked to be picked up from camp. If the camp has to be cancleed (once camp has begun) due to COVID 19-  No refunds will be given due to all costs being fixed.

Notification of COVID-19 cases: During or post camp

We ask that any parent of a child who tests positive for COVID-19 - either during or after camp- notify us immediately so that we may inform others in their cohort. We will take all other appropriate safety measures to ensure that we provide the safest possible camp environment, however we can guarantee the possibility of not having any COVID cases.

We appreciate your cooperation and compliance with the above outlined policies; if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us at [email protected]

We look forward to a fun, safe and healthy summer camp at Davidson Soccer School.
